Patrick Jordan

Darrell Patrick Jordan was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He is an alumnus of Highland Park High School, the Lawrenceville School, Kenyon College, and SMU. After receiving his law degree from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University in 2000, Patrick began his legal career at the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office. He worked through the misdemeanor courts and became a felony prosecutor in 2002. Shortly thereafter, he was promoted to the child abuse division where he spent almost three years handling cases involving crimes against children. In 2005, Patrick was promoted to chief felony prosecutor in the 265th Judicial District Court, and a short time later he became a felony deputy chief prosecutor over the organized crime division of the Dallas District Attorney’s office. During his tenure as an assistant district attorney, Patrick tried to jury verdict over 125 trials, including capital murder, murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, theft, fraud, all manner of child abuse cases, and all manner of drug trafficking and related offenses. After spending a decade working as a trial lawyer for the District Attorney, Patrick left the office in 2011 and opened the Law Office of D. Patrick Jordan, in Dallas. He spends 100% of his time representing individuals charged with all manner of criminal offenses in both state and federal court. Patrick has successfully defended individuals charged with murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, family violence, drug offenses, fraud, theft, and DWIs to name a few. He prides himself on the fact that most of his new clients are referred to him through former clients. Patrick has been married to his wife Pam for 22 years and is the father of two amazing children.
